The contributors do not write long posts in order to speak many words. Many people have noted how dense our posts are with usable information. We try hard to avoid wasting words. Why So Long? Our longer posts are not presentations to be used at the door. They are meant to exhaustively cover every aspect of a matter so that our readers will know where they can find the information and do not have to go searching about for it. Also, it is so that we can minimize the clutter of this site's lists of blog posts. It is simply confusing to the reader to wade through post after post on the same subject to find that one with the point they really liked. We have done everything in our power to make sure readers are able to quickly find the information they are looking for.
